Family!! I’m headed to Sierra Leone in June 2018!!
I have been afforded the opportunity to serve in Sierra Leone and participate in an exchange of ideas with local physicians. We will be afforded the unique opportunity to fully integrate into various healthcare settings and interact with Sierra Leonean medical students.
I will be traveling with the Mama-Pikin Foundation. The Mama-Pikin Foundation is a non-profit corporation founded in Atlanta, Georgia in 2008 by two doctors of Sierra Leonean descent. Its goals are to help enhance, improve and otherwise positively contribute to the health and well being of mothers, children, and families in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
