This is a beautiful story about a young man who was born into a Muslim family in Uganda, however, he saw a film about Jesus and it changed his life when he realized what Jesus had done for him. He gave his life to Jesus and unfortunately was ostracized by his family. Pastor Fisher met him a few years later, in 2017, at a youth event in Entebbe, Uganda at the Calvary Chapel there and have had the wonderful opportunity of helping encourage snd instruct him in his walk of faith. Now in August 2025 Pastor Fisher has another wonderful opportunity to officiate Feni and Asizu’s holy matrimony.
Recently Feni wrote: “I feel like I carry the weight of being my own family and my own support system. At times, it makes me strong and independent, but deep down it can also feel lonely and tiring. I long for the comfort of being cared for, yet I remind myself that God has received me as His child, and in Him I find the family and strength I lack in people. I am grateful for brothers and friends like you that filled the gaps and I am thankful for that.”
We will also be celebrating their union by engaging in prison ministry and by doing evangelism in the community with the same Jesus Film that pointed Feni to Jesus. Pray for us and please send donations so we can buy more Bibles!!
